1.I like how there’s no sexual relation hinted at between Abby and Thomas. It makes their relationship something worth questioning. Why did they end up together? Was Thomas a former male friend/turned pseudo romantic partner like she is with Owen? It’d make Thomas’s earlier request that Abby leave Owen alone more tragic, as if he didn’t want the child to experience the downfalls of having no life outside of her. I’m of the opinion that Abby will turn Owen into a vampire to live with her. He innocence over the idea of a girlfriend makes it seem like she’s never experienced a genuine romance so the relationship feels like a new adventure for both of them.
