1. Why did Fran (Edi Patterson) not call the police if she had the information or have some kind of weapon/backup plan when confronting Ransom? She knew that he literally killed his grandfather and wasn’t above doing awful things so going into the situation with no protection or backup plan is ridiculous.

2. Linda feels like a huge wasted opportunity to explore the family commentary. As someone who loved her dad and wanted to respect his wished and thought the world of him, her reaction to his will change feels really strange. Yes, she should be upset, but given her close connection with him it feels weird that we don’t get to see a conflict within her. It’d have been so interesting if she ended up coming out in real support of Marta or causing some kind of in-fighting within the family to really high-light what Harlan wanted his family to understand.
