Spoiler Discussion

1. The dialogue scene between the three main leads at the bottom level of the ship was my favorite scene. Quint’s recollection of the horror he faced with the shark added to the horrifying imagery of the shark I had seen up till that point. The description of their beady lifeless eyes is something I couldn’t stop thinking about especially when I saw the shark again. It gave the creature a metaphysical evil feeling that made it feel otherworldly. The comparison of Quint’s and Matt’s injuries introduced a fun yet slightly morbid sense of humor which made the above recollection that much more jarring when it came after the humorous moment.
