1.The gluing the mouth scene followed by the cutting the mouth scene absolutely floored me in how brutal it was. Like only a kid would go oopsie and do this, but only a truly damaged individual could even do something as heinous as this. It makes you wonder exactly what the parents did for Elias post the accident because it feels like they did absolutely nothing to help him cope with his guilt or psychotic breakdown.
