SPOILER DISCUSSION

1.The subplot involving Mackenzie (Benedict Cumberbatch) was disappointing. When William is told to read the letter in public, I assumed that there would be more of a fight between the two when they did encounter one another. The struggle feels half-assed when it finally does come because William doesn’t have to struggle to get Mackenzie into a public situation to put him under pressure. It just happens for him, so the previous warning just fizzles out. I felt pretty let down by it.
