4/9/20Updated # of Times Watched from 2 to 3
4/9/20Modified last paragraph to explain the good parts about the ending as well. The more I think about it, the more the obvious nature of who the killer is plays into the themes of the movie. Despite quite literally being given fairly decent evidence, I and a lot of the characters in the movie were incapable of just accepting uncomfortable truths because there’s “no way” that could be true. The whole point is you never really know if someone is capable of something because they can keep it all hidden away. In that respect, the ending knocks it out of the park.
4/9/20Moved #3 in Spoilers to #4 and added a new #3 explaining why I think the ending adds thematically. See above change.
4/9/20Updated rating from 9.2 to 9.4. See changes from 4/9/20.
